This mop broke after less than 10 uses. I followed the instructions. Don't buy.

I have recommended this to all of my friends and I don't know how I ever lived without it. My kitchen floor is actually shiny again. I thought it was dull from age but it was from layers of built-up dirt. Mopping was always a time-consuming job that seldom got done. Now my floor is always clean and I actually look forward to mopping. It is so fast and efficient. I love this appliance!!!

Easy to put together and use. My floors are definitely cleaner. I was somewhat concerned because the pad did not look as dirty as I expected . I ran a wet paper towel on the floors and there was some residue left. The steam is plenty to loosen dirt but the microfiber pad might need a bit more pile to pick the loosened dirt up. I still think this was worth getting. I hope the company makes an improved microfiber pad to catch more of the loose dirt.

Worked fine for a little under a year, then the green light refused to come on. I guess you do get what you pay for. Worked well while it lasted, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Loved using this steamer but it suffered an early demise. I inheritied the steamer when my mother died and I was really impressed with it. Sadly, I only used it a few times and the lights would not come on at all and it wouldn't heat up. I was about to toss it but my husband took it apart and found the parts inside all corroded! How did this happen? How do you prevent this from happening? I am likely to believe that this has happened to many other customers. I want to purchase another one but I am reluctant to perhaps throw money out the window.

I had a s mop and it broke with 3 months of buying it. I will not have to worry about that with this one :) I love that you guys thought of little people when making this mop even the shortest person would not have a problem working with this mop.

This steam mop is awesome. I have had this mop and the Shark and this one is so much better. It doesn't leave any streaks on your hardwoods and leaves them looking clean and shiny.

I loved this steamer for 6 months, then it died! Very disappointed! Because of the sturdy construction I thought I would have it for years to come. Pads are still in excellent shape, and machine still looks brand new. I wish I could bring it back to life!

Its been only six months and the foot operated on and off switch doesn't work- today I couldn't turn the steamer on. I was so excited with the product. It cleans well and at the time was very good value for money, now I am beginning to think that maybe I should have gone with the more expensive brand.

Only used on floors 6 times and can't get a green light . Says it won't heat because I need to add water. Already added water. It is full of distilled water! Not much value if it won't work. Of course I did not save receipts or package. So much for my Green Cleaning Experience. I will try the vinegar trick just for the heck of it. If a miracle happens I will rebut this review

This is my first foray into steam cleaning, and the Steamfast model 142 has made me a believer. This is an excellent product, well-designed, easy to use, and a great value. Steaming time is more than adequate while the tank size is appropriate for a good-sized room. Refilling is simple, and makes you want to continue on your steam cleaning chores, moving room to room. I recommend the Steamfast Steam Mop as a great and economical way try out the latest in cleaning technology.

We have used other steam mops and this works as weel for a much lower price.
We have had it for over a year on tile and are still pleased.
