As above the squeegee broke or melted. the rubberized squeegee part fell off. The user has no other way of knowing how much steam is left other than keeping a stopwatch.

I am about to order my second MC1275 as we speak, and why??
My first one, after 5 years of HEAVY commercial use in my auto detailing and upholstery shop finally gave up the goast.
To say that this machine is durable would be an understatement, for 5 years it was dragged around the shop by employees (by the hose no less), filled with unfiltered water, and even once, left out in the rain! Yet every day, it stayed on for 8 hours to provide faithful service.
I truly beleive the machine would have lasted even longer, but our staff frequently used unfiltered water, and the boiler finally went out because of it..
So, long story short. $129 Machine with the performance of the $900 commercial units. 5 years of use under extreme service. I think I more than got my money' worth.
I'll write a review on the new one in another 5 years or so ;-)
I love this thing!!!

Great product! Does just what everyone says. Bathroom & wood floors look great. Purchased it to help clean our parrot's cage & really cuts down on the work. Had seen some complaints on Amazon.com about how noisy it is but it doesn't bother me, doesn't seem too loud at all.

I asked and received this cleaner for the Holidays. I now have clean grout in my kitchen and dining room.
I do my counter tops, cabinets and appliances with the
steamer. Also my bathrooms. I have told so many people ! I hope at least one of them have bought one. My only problem is my shinny laminate living room floor. It smeared it. I am going to try steaming doggy paws off then use a dry mop right after to see if that takes care of the problem.

I clean everything with this steam cleaner from bathrooms, stove/oven, box springs, rugs, grills, etc. You name it and I steam clean it. It's easy to use, convenient, and does a great job.

I received this for Christmas, I wanted a steam mop, but those others were very small. My living room is 30 x 30, and that's just one of 5 rooms on the first floor, so my house is BIG. This cleans a large floor space and steams for a long time, I love it!! My wood floors are clean and all I had to do was buff. My bathroom and kitchen are cleaner than ever, and I thought they were clean before. I've "refreshed" the family room couches, and made a shammy cover for the floor head so I could do the rug, the family room now smells fresh and IS fresh. I would recommend this to everyone.

I purchased this earlier this year to lessen my dependence on chemical cleaners. I am very happy using it and find it very effective for home use. I would highly recommend this to friends.

I bought this unit as I own a small Italian cafe` and am tired of paying big bucks to have someone come and steam clean the oven and hood. While I know I cannot do all of the hood I can do a major portion that will help cut down on costs. The oven I can do all of it as well as a lot of things in the cafe`.

I wish there was better storage for all accessories and water level meter, temperature ( ready hot) takes 8 minutes. I cleaned my stove it was great and windows.
I really like the steam power for the small unit. need to know where to buy accessories and if they something for simply ironing shirts etc.
