I purchased this mop several years ago, but meanwhile, my mother bought me a competitor's mop as a gift so I began using that steam mop. That mop has gone kaput (in one year's time) and I returned to using my Steamfast. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. No aggrevating pumping and waiting for steam to appear. No Streaking. Just the right amount of steam is emitted to allow for cleaning but also a fast dry time.
My only criticism would be the height of the mop head. There are places that you can't clean under due to its boxy shape.

If this steam mop were a man I would marry it! It is an awesome tool to keep my floors clean and looking great. No more hand scrubbing my decorative tile floors; it even gets the dirt out of the "pits" in the tiles. I would recommend this to anyone!

Had been wanting a steam mop for several months now but didn't want to pay the price for a Shark steam mop which cost $100.00-$150.00. Saw the Steamfast steam mop at Home Depot and thought I would give it a try. I was very pleased with how it cleaned my linoleum floors and hardwood floors. It is lightweight, easy to use and cleans great.

I do realize it cleans well, I do not dispute that. My impressions of it are a little more critical on the design. Here on the website it says it has a 16' cord, on my box it says its 19' and in all actuality it's about 14' long. WTF? If the cord is placed in its proper location and clipped on handle it is even shorter and isn't long enough to do even a normal/medium sized room. Also, the cord doesn't have a plug on it that will allow it to "clip" back onto itself, so it just lays unwrapped on the closet floot. My last beef with it is that the reservoir isn't big enough to do the same above normal/medium sized room.
In the end it does clean as it promises and I like how good of a job it does, we have all wooden floors and it works better than anything else I've used.
It just needs some improvements made that will help make it even easier to use. I don't know if its better but for the $20 maybe go for the next step up. If I had bought it, it was a Xmas present, I would have opted for the better one.

I bought this steammop at Bimart, on special, figuring I would have to return it as it looked too good to be true. However, I am really pleased to say I am keeping it. I have a muscle disorder and this is the first floor cleaner I have used which does not hurt me to use. It is efficient, quiet, lightweight; it is easy to fill, change the pads, wash them; it cleans all my floors. We have wood and a type of tile which does not clean easily - with this it does, along with the grout. I especially like the idea that I am using HOT WATER (we have dogs, dirt and dirt). Thank you.

I saw this product at Home Depot. I decided to try it and "wow". It works so well on my hard floors that I am looking for the optional "carpet glider" and a hand held steamer to use throughout the house.

I have been wanting to try a steam cleaner on my tile floors, and we have a lot of tile floors. The place I purchased it at was selling this machine for such a great price, I thought I would give it a try. I was totally amazed how well it cleaned. The machine is very lightweight and easy to use and the floors are super clean. I did a test by going over the area I just did with a white damp towel, and no dirt at all was on the white towel. Everything I have used in the past never passed the white towel test. I now look forward to cleaning my floors. Thank you for such a great product!

I have twin toddlers and a 5 yr old and 1000 sq.ft. of tile, hardwood & linoleum floors... I am so happy to have found the Steam Mop!! It does an amazing job at cleaning all their sticky little messes. I use it when the boys are napping, because it does get hot and knowing them, they'd create a dangerous situation. I love this thing! And great great deal on black friday @ Home Depot -thanks!!

I recently picked this up at home depot because of the low price and having a crawling baby i am always mopping floors! I love this steam mop, my floors are always clean, and its super easy to use. I took it to my neighbors house to show her how well and works and now shes trying to track one down but they seem to be gone at home depot!

This steamer is idiot proof! Easy to assemble & use. I have birds and laminate floors and wasn't sure how well it would work on dried "presents". They are hard to scrub by hand but came off with ease with my steamer. It took several passes, but time wise it was super-fast. The pad held up very well to the abrasiveness of the "presents". I am VERY happy with its performance. Excellent cleaning ability and the value is unbelievable. I feel I got more for my money than what I expected. It out performed my expectations. Plus, no residue from soaps & cleaners!!!
